About Larpmaxx

By Larpmaxx teamUpdated

Larpmaxx is a web app of entertainment tools for larpmaxxing: a fictional crypto wallet, notifications on your own phone, clips, fake profile and live screens, app screens and a wall of AI coding agents. Nothing in it is real money or proof of anything.

What Larpmaxx is

Larpmaxxing means fully committing to a persona, aesthetic or lifestyle, online or in real life. Larpmaxx makes props for it. It is built for people filming skits, making content and playing a bit for friends who already know what they are looking at.

Every product is a screen, a sound or a file that looks like something real. None of them is. A balance is a number somebody typed, a notification is one nobody sent and a viewer count is a slider. That is the design, not a limitation: the thing being sold is the look.

What is fictional

All of it. Nothing inside Larpmaxx is real cryptocurrency or real money: every balance, transaction and portfolio value is made up, for entertainment. Every Notimaxx notification is generated on your own phone, so nobody sent the message, no money moved and nothing was sold. Socialmaxx and Livemaxx run on your device and post or broadcast nothing.

It follows that none of it is proof. A Larpmaxx screen is not evidence of a payment, a sale, an account, a following or a business, and it should not be shown to anyone as one.

Where it runs

Larpmaxx is a web app that works on iPhone and Android, and it installs to the home screen. It is not listed in any app store, so an app in a store with a similar name is not ours. LarpLocation, the desktop app, downloads from your Larpmaxx dashboard.

The rules of use

The Terms are blunt about it. The service is for personal entertainment and content creation, and using it for fraud, deception or anything illegal is prohibited. That includes using it to impersonate real financial holdings or to deceive other people about your actual financial status. A performance for an audience that is in on it is theatre; the same screen shown to one person as evidence is something else. The how-to guide ends on the same line, with a step called “Know the line.”

Who to ask

Larpmaxx is run by the Larpmaxx team, which does not publish personal names on the site. Questions go to team@larpmaxx.com or through the support page. The Terms say inquiries get an answer within 24 hours.

Questions people ask

Is Larpmaxx real?

The company and the app are real. What they produce is not: the wallet holds no money, the notifications come from nobody and the counts are whatever you set.

Is Larpmaxx a crypto app?

No. It contains a fictional wallet, Cryptomaxx, which is a screen. It cannot hold, send, receive or connect to real crypto assets.

What does larpmaxx mean?

The name comes from the slang. Larp began as the live-action role-play hobby and became internet shorthand for pretending, and -maxxing means pushing something as far as it goes. The full story is on What is larpmaxxing?, and the hobby sense is on What does larp mean?
