These Terms of Service ("Terms," "Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," "your") and Larpmaxx ("Larpmaxx," "we," "us," "our"), governing your access to and use of the Larpmaxx website, dashboard, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
BY ACCESSING OR USING THE SERVICE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THE SERVICE.
Larpmaxx is a novelty entertainment product that allows users to create realistic fictional cryptocurrency wallet interfaces. Larpmaxx is not a real cryptocurrency wallet and does not hold, send, receive, or connect to any real crypto assets. The Service is intended solely for personal entertainment and content creation.
3.1 Licence Grant. Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of all applicable fees, Larpmaxx grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the Service solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes.
3.2 Licensed, Not Sold. The Service is licensed, not sold. All right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including all intellectual property rights therein, remain with Larpmaxx and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any ownership interest in the Service.
3.3 Licence Restrictions. Except as section 3.4 permits, you may not: (a) copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service; (c) sell, sublicense, rent, lease, or transfer your licence to any third party; (d) use the Service for any commercial purpose; (e) circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security or access control mechanisms; or (f) share your account credentials with any other person.
3.4 LarpLocation. LarpLocation, our desktop app for setting the location of a connected phone, is licensed to you under the LarpLocation End-User Licence Agreement, which comes with the app and is published on this website. Where that agreement permits a use of LarpLocation or gives you a right that these Terms would otherwise restrict, including in sections 2, 3.1, 3.3 and 8, the agreement applies. Third-party components included in LarpLocation remain under their own licences, and these Terms take away none of the rights those licences give you; section 3.3 also does not restrict anything the law allows you to do regardless of a contract.
If you join the referral program (the Larpmaxx Ambassador program), its terms at /terms/referral also apply, and they permit you to share your code as they describe.
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater, to use the Service. If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
5.1 Payment Processing. All payments are processed securely through Stripe or other authorized payment processors. Larpmaxx does not store your full credit card number, CVV, or banking credentials. Payment processing is subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy.
5.2 Automatic Renewal. Subscription plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period until you cancel. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Larpmaxx and its payment processor to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You will be charged the rate that applies to your subscription at each renewal (see 5.6) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
5.3 Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe customer portal accessible via your dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current billing period. You retain access until the end of your paid period.
5.4 Failed Payments. If a renewal payment fails, your subscription is not cancelled. We or our payment processor keep retrying the charge, and each new billing period is billed as usual. You keep access to the Service while payment is being retried. Every billing period in which you had access stays payable, whether or not you used the Service, and when a payment goes through we may charge the unpaid periods to your payment method, so several periods can be charged together. To stop this, cancel your subscription: cancelling while a payment has failed ends your access straight away, stops the retries, and the unpaid periods are not collected after that. We may still suspend access if our payment processor or the law requires it.
5.5 Lifetime Access. A "Lifetime" plan is a one-time purchase that gives you access to the Service for as long as Larpmaxx operates the product. It does not guarantee perpetual operation, availability of specific features, or compatibility with all future platforms or devices. We may end or change Lifetime access if we are forced to: by law or a regulator, by a payment, app-store or hosting provider, or because we can no longer operate the Service.
5.6 Price Changes. We may change pricing at any time. A new price applies to new purchases from when it is posted. An active subscription keeps the price it was bought at until we change the price of that subscription; a change to it takes effect from the subscription's next renewal after we post or tell you about the change. If the law requires us to tell you before a price increase applies to your subscription, we will do that first, and you can cancel before it applies.
5.7 Offers and codes. A code or offer that we issue to your account applies only to that account and cannot be sold or transferred. Any code or offer applies only to the payment it describes and cannot be combined with another discount unless it says otherwise. We may change, limit or withdraw any offer or code at any time, and a code that has been withdrawn does not apply to later payments. Nothing about an offer changes the regular price that applies after it.
5.8 Larpmaxx Black. Larpmaxx Black is a monthly subscription that includes everything in the other plans plus the personal services listed on its plan card: a direct line to the founder, custom interface remakes, clip requests, priority on your feature requests, remakes made to your name and colors, and done-for-you setup. You send a request by email to team@larpmaxx.com. We accept a request if it is clear and is something we can build as a Larpmaxx app or screen, such as a novelty version of an interface with fictional data; we do not remake anything that would break section 8, and we do not copy another person's protected logos or marks where we have no right to. We tell you at once if we cannot accept a request and why. Accepted requests are delivered within 24 hours of acceptance. Requests are handled one at a time, in the order received, so a second request begins when the first is delivered. Clips are sourced or filmed for personal use as described in section 3. Cancellation, renewal and refunds work as in sections 5.2, 5.3 and 6.
Due to the digital nature of the Service and immediate access granted upon purchase, refunds are not provided for change of mind, dissatisfaction after use, or unused subscription time.
We may, in our sole discretion, consider refund requests where required by applicable consumer protection law or where a verifiable technical failure has prevented basic functionality. Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights you may have under applicable law.
Before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or payment provider, you agree to contact us first and attempt to resolve the matter directly. We will address legitimate concerns promptly and in good faith.
If you initiate a chargeback or dispute without first contacting us, your access may be suspended or terminated, your account may be banned, and we may pursue recovery of the disputed amount plus associated fees. Initiating a chargeback for a charge you know to be valid constitutes a material breach of these Terms.
You may not use the Service for fraud, deception, or any illegal activity. The Service is intended solely for personal entertainment. Using it to impersonate real financial holdings or to deceive others as to your actual financial status is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination without refund. You may not violate any applicable law, harass others, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access to any system, or infringe any third party's intellectual property rights.
The Service relies on third-party providers (including Stripe, Supabase, Vercel, and authentication providers) for payment processing, hosting, and authentication. We do not control these services. Their availability, functionality, and terms may change at any time without notice. Larpmaxx assumes no responsibility for the conduct, availability, or policies of any third-party service. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
Communications through our support channels are provided for assistance and informational purposes only. Such communications do not amend, waive, or supersede these Terms. Only a written amendment published on our website or an official written notice from an authorized representative shall modify these Terms.
All content, designs, software, trademarks, and materials associated with Larpmaxx are owned by Larpmaxx or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You acquire no ownership rights through these Terms or your use of the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. LARPMAXX DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LARPMAXX, ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO LARPMAXX IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such cases, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Larpmaxx, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right; or (d) any claim that your conduct caused harm to a third party.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your licence ends immediately and you must cease all use of the Service. No refund shall be provided except where required by law. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription through the billing portal and ceasing use of the Service.
We may change these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when we post them on this page, and we update the "Last updated" date when we do. We are not required to give you advance notice or to email you about a change, except where the law requires us to; where it does, we will give that notice. Check this page from time to time. If you keep using the Service after a change is posted, you accept the changed Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Larpmaxx regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements. For LarpLocation, the LarpLocation End-User Licence Agreement (section 3.4) also applies.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
Time Limitation. Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service must be filed within one (1) year of when the claim arose, or within the minimum period permitted by applicable law if longer.
