Larpmaxx Apps and the App Pack
By Larpmaxx teamUpdated
Larpmaxx apps are the fictional tools inside the Larpmaxx web app: Cryptomaxx, Notimaxx, Socialmaxx, Livemaxx and Codemaxx, plus the app pack, a set of realistic phone and laptop screens you can rename and recolour. Nothing in them is real or proof of anything.
What the Larpmaxx apps are
Larpmaxx is one web app, not a folder of separate downloads, and the apps are the tools inside it. It is not listed in any app store, so an app in a store with a similar name is not ours. Each tool is a prop for larpmaxxing: a screen, a notification or a profile that looks like something real and is not. About Larpmaxx covers the company, the rules of use and who to ask.
On a phone the tools run in the browser and can be added to the home screen, so they open full screen like any other app. The step-by-step guide explains where each one fits when you are building a character.
The five tools
| App | What it does | Page |
|---|---|---|
| Cryptomaxx | A fictional crypto wallet. You set the balances and the tokens, and it holds nothing real and touches no blockchain. | Cryptomaxx |
| Notimaxx | Notifications on your own phone, shaped like a text or an order, with the names, wording and timing you choose. | Notimaxx |
| Socialmaxx | A social profile mockup on your phone: username, picture, posts and counts you set. It posts nothing. | Socialmaxx |
| Livemaxx | Your camera behind a live-stream screen, with the viewer count, comments and hearts you set. Nothing is broadcast. | Livemaxx |
| Codemaxx | A wall of terminals that look like AI coding agents at work: reading files, editing code, running tests and committing. | Codemaxx |
The app pack
The app pack is a set of realistic app screens that sit beside the five tools. Most are built for a phone; a few are laptop-sized, with a landscape layout. Each one opens as its own app, and it starts as a sample you then make your own.
- Name it. The name you give an app is the one on its home screen icon, in its header and in the browser tab.
- Recolour it. Each app has an accent colour you can change, and an icon you can change with it.
- Edit what is on the screen. Every screen has an Edit button that makes its names, figures and labels editable, and a Reset button.
- Install the phone ones. A phone app can be added to the home screen under its own name and icon. The laptop-sized screens are made for a landscape desktop layout and are not offered as home-screen apps.
The pack has no page for each screen on purpose. It is a category, and the screens in it are examples of how real apps look rather than the point of the product. There is no separate purchase for it: every paid plan opens the whole pack.
What is fictional
All of it. A balance in any of these apps is a number somebody typed, a notification is one nobody sent, a viewer count is a slider and a pack screen is a picture of an app with your edits on it. Nothing connects to a real account, bank, exchange or platform, and none of it is affiliated with one.
It follows that none of it is proof. A Larpmaxx screen is not evidence of a payment, a sale, an account, a following or a business, and passing one off as real to a person is the deception the Terms prohibit. The tools are for content where the audience is in on it.
Which one to use
- For a phone screen that sits in the shot, Cryptomaxx or an app from the pack.
- For something that happens on your phone while you film, Notimaxx.
- For a profile or a live stream as a prop, Socialmaxx or Livemaxx.
- For a desk scene that looks busy, Codemaxx.
Pricing
There is no purchase for a single app. Every active Larpmaxx plan includes the tools above, and without a plan the app opens on a prompt to pick one. Current prices:
- Starter at $10 a week
- Premier at $30 a month
- Lifetime at $200, paid once
You can see what each plan includes, beside its price, after you create an account and try the demo. Payment goes through Stripe.
